Upen J. Patel, DDS, MAGD, FICD, FPFA

Dr. Patel is as passionate about teaching dentistry as he is about practicing it. He strives to keep up to date on continuing education and volunteers his 20-plus years of expertise at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He also writes articles in National Dental Journals and is a Key Opinion Leader for numerous dental products worldwide.

Dr. Patel received his DDS from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in 2005 as one of the youngest graduates ever. He capped off a successful senior year by being awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in the Academy of Operative Dentistry. After graduating he completed a comprehensive residency at PACIFIC University in Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he graduated with highest honors as the class Valedictorian. Dr. Patel is proficient in a wide range of state-of-the-art dental procedures and techniques, which are reinforced by his pursuit of continuing education at the highest level. For his contributions to dental education, he has been awarded the prestigious Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellowship in the International College of Dentists, Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Fellowship in the International Academy of Dental – Facial Esthetics, and is a KOIS Center Graduate.
