Enjoy a New Life the Same Day as Surgery
When you chew and bite, the force exerted by your teeth keeps your jawbones strong and healthy. After a tooth is extracted or falls out, the bone around the empty tooth socket starts shrinking and continues until it’s completely reabsorbed. This can lead to functional oral health issues such as shifting of surrounding teeth, an increased risk of gum disease & decay, and difficulties eating some foods. If you have missing teeth, you may also be experiencing a diminished quality of life and low self-esteem because you’re too embarrassed to smile.
The Benefits of the All-on-X Procedure
If we determine that you’re a suitable candidate for All-on-X dental implants, you’ll never have to worry again about common issues associated with dentures, such as teeth falling out, clicking, slipping, or removing them at night for cleaning!Other benefits of All-on-X include:
- Crafted to precisely fit your face shape and jaw size
- Creates a secure foundation for custom-made retained denture
- Optimizes jawbone contact
- Typically eliminates the need for additional bone grafting
- Enables a single visit procedure
- Provides durable, long-lasting results
- Can be brushed like natural teeth
- Prevents issues associated with traditional dentures
The Three Phases of Our All-on-X Process
Phase One: Consultation and Planning
The All-on-X procedure is customized down to the finest details. Once it’s determined that you’re a candidate, Dr. Patel creates a meticulous treatment plan that ensures your surgery will be performed with the utmost precision. If any preliminary work is needed, such as a tooth extraction, this is completed before the implants are placed. At this appointment, we use CBCT technology to take 3D x-rays of your mouth. The 3D images provide Dr. Patel with an in-depth look at the bony structures of your mouth, which is essential for virtually planning the most optimal placement for your implants.
Phase Two: Guided Implant Surgery
At Avorio Dental, we use the All-on-X protocol for upper arch replacement, lower arch replacement, or full mouth restoration. This treatment concept relies on strategically placing a minimum of four implants in your jawbone at specific locations and angles. We can adapt the protocol and use more than four implants for greater stability, depending on your case. Once we have placed your dental implants, you will be provided with a temporary bridge of teeth fabricated from a bio-compatible material called PMMA that functions fully and looks natural.
Phase Three- Final Restoration
Typically, it takes four to six months for your treatment site to heal after surgery. During this time, dental implants integrate with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Once they fuse, dental implants function like natural tooth roots, providing a secure permanent support for your new fixed teeth. The final stage of the process is fitting you with a beautiful, custom-made arch of upper, lower or both arches created from top-quality zirconia. Milled from a solid block for superior durability, zirconia is the strongest and most natural-looking material in implant dentistry.

What is All-on-X?
The All-on-X treatment concept offers an implant-based solution to patients who have lost all of their upper and/or lower teeth. This remarkable method of care helps patients quickly rebuild complete and beautiful smiles. With All-on-X, your new, and complete set of implant-supported replacement teeth feel secure, stable, and much like your very own.
Is All-on-X right for me?
If you currently wear complete upper and/or lower dentures or are slated to have your remaining teeth extracted, you may be a candidate for All-on-X. The All-on-X treatment concept has helped hundreds of thousands of patients quickly reestablish attractive smiles that look, feel, and function just like a set of natural teeth!
What is the difference between All-on-X and dentures?
The All-on-X treatment concept offers a fixed and permanent alternative to removable dentures. Unlike dentures, All-on-X does not rely on messy dental adhesives or natural suction to hold your new set of teeth in place. With All-on-X, your replacement teeth are permanently secured by dental implants, giving you a smile that looks not only great but also feels secure and stable. You’ll feel comfortable and confident as you speak, smile, and chew with ease.
How is All-on-X different from other types of dental implants?
While traditional full arch implants also achieve outstanding results of care, the All-on-X treatment concept does not involve bone grafting and requires fewer implants to support a full set of teeth. With just four strategically placed dental implants needed to support an entire set of upper or lower teeth, the All-on-X treatment concept offers a cost-effective and satisfying solution for rebuilding a complete smile. Thanks to this remarkable method of care, patients can experience the satisfaction of having teeth placed the same day as surgery. This key feature allows patients to smile and function with confidence until healing is complete and the permanent restorations installed.
What’s the procedure for All-on-X treatment?
Once it’s been determined that you’re a candidate for treatment with All-on-X, the process of treatment planning and designing your new smile begins. 3D diagnostic records provide the detailed information required to determine the exact positions of the four supporting dental implants. Then, on the day of surgery, we’ll remove any remaining teeth, place the implants, and insert a set of attractive, sturdy, and functional set of temporary teeth. With All-on-X, temporary teeth can be placed right away with a customized, permanent set to follow once the implants become fully integrated with the surrounding bone.
Will I have teeth right away with All-on-X treatment?
With All-on-X, temporary teeth can be placed right away with a customized, permanent set to follow within just a few months after the implants become fully integrated with the surrounding bone.
